Matthew Van Gelder, Owner/Management
I have been working my way up through the auto shipping business since 1997. Having worked in all facets of the business, I understand every part of the process. My experience has given me the time not only to establish a dedicated staff and a reliable network of carriers, but also has taught me about customer service and communication. And it is through our excellent communication with customers that makes EAS stand out from other auto shipping companies.
Jenny Van Gelder, Owner/Accounting
After graduating from Iowa State University, I joined the family owned auto relocation company in accounts payable. And now, almost 10 years later, I have continued down the accounting path. I received my Masters in Accounting and Financial Management from Keller Graduate School of Management. At EAS, I am in charge of managing the finances and accounting services along with managing the company.
Betty Van Gelder, Customer Service
I have been in the auto relocation industry since 1985. As a previous business owner, I have been involved in all aspects of auto relocation from the initial pickup and inspection of the vehicle to ensuring customer satisfaction at delivery. Because of my experience I know taking care of the customers needs means building good relationships and repeat business. At EAS I am involved in customer satisfaction, maintaining high standards in vehicle inspections, helping in the organization of vehicle moves with truck schedules and keeping EAS up-to-date on FMCSA rules and regulations.
Laurie Stevens, Customer Service
I am a 26-year veteran in the field of customer service and have enjoyed working for EAS since the company's inception. Our clientele is wonderful and I am grateful to have the opportunity everyday to assist them in transporting their vehicles while building ongoing relationships. My goal is tried and true; to treat each customer the way I like to be treated. Currently, I reside in Park Ridge, Illinois and have lived in the Chicagoland area my entire life. GO CUBBIES!
